- Patolli v1.0s (PATOLLI.EXE) is a Windows shareware version of the
- ancient Aztec gambling game Patolli. Played from at least 200 B.C.
- by the Teotihuacanians, the Toltecs, the Aztecs, the Mixtecs,
- the Zapotecs, and even the Mayans; games derived from it are played
- even today all over MesoAmerica. This version offers excellent graphics,
- great game play, original MIDI background music, and good game sounds.
- Easy to play and learn, very fun, and very educational! The only
- remaining question: Are you player enough to prevent the Aztec demon
- and god 'Smoking Mirror' from taking your library card?

- To install Patolli, please do the following:

- 1. Check that VBRUN300.DLL is in your Windows System directory. If not,
- please download a copy (there should be a copy on the BBS from which
- you downloaded PATOLLI.ZIP).

- 2. Create a directory PATOLLI.

- 3. Copy all the files 'unzipped' from PATOLLI.ZIP
- to this new Patolli directory.

- 4. Create a program manager icon for PATOLLI.EXE by adding it as a file
- in your GAMES program manager group.
